Working as a collection, it reminded me of the old mysteries which were often gathered together in print (think Arthur Conan Doyle etc). The cover of this is explosive and eye catching, whilst the tales within are intriguing and gripping, with clever strokes of plot twists and brushes of tension.
One of my favourites was Dressed to Kill by James Oswald, about the Scottish detective Inspector McLean!
